| The Spokane Advertising Federation has been serving advertising and marketing professionals in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho for nearly a century. In 1901, three Spokane businessmen set the wheels in motion for the formation of one of the nation's oldest business ethics groups, the Spokane Advertising Club. These executive pioneers continued on to form the Better Business Bureau Committee, one of the first organizations of its kind. In 1912, the committee affiliated with the national movement and is today known as the Better Business Bureau of Spokane. |

| Paula Scher is a Creative Director at the New York branch of Pentagram. She studied at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and began her graphic design career as a record cover art director at both Atlantic and CBS Records in the 1970s. In 1984 she co-founded Koppel & Scher, and in 1991 she joined Pentagram as a partner. |
